FAQ

QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR SERVICES

We specialise in energy storage (BESS) and solar PV projects in Poland. We offer three main services: project development (from greenfield to ready-to-build), investment advisory (due diligence, ROI analysis, tender management), and C&I solutions (sizing and implementation of installations for industrial and commercial clients).

We combine three things: hands-on experience from international EPC companies, deep knowledge of the Polish market (every DSO, procedures, suppliers), and an in-house team that takes projects from A to Z. We’re not a broker or middleman – we deliver concrete results: permits, documentation, working systems.

We work with three main groups: investment funds and developers (Polish and international) looking for BESS/PV projects in Poland, banks and financial institutions requiring due diligence, and industrial and commercial companies (C&I sector) wanting to reduce energy costs or gain energy independence.

Yes, we focus on the Polish market – this is where we have the deepest knowledge, contacts, and experience. For international investors and developers, we act as a local arm in Poland, guiding projects through Polish administrative and regulatory procedures.

QUESTIONS ABOUT PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

It means the full administrative pathway: from land acquisition, through zoning amendments or location decisions, environmental permits, grid connection conditions, to a valid building permit. A “ready-to-build” project is ready to start construction or be sold to an investor.

A standard BESS or PV project: 18-24 months to ready-to-build. Timing depends on location, required connection capacity, need for zoning changes, and local authority efficiency. At the first meeting, we present a realistic timeline for your specific project.

Yes. We help identify suitable sites, verify legal status of plots, check substation proximity and available capacity, analyse zoning and environmental conditions. We also support lease or purchase negotiations with landowners.

We have experience with every DSO in Poland (Enea, Tauron, PGE, Energa). We prepare grid connection applications, handle correspondence with operators, negotiate technical conditions, and support signing of connection agreements. We know the procedures and how to speed up the process.

QUESTIONS ABOUT INVESTMENT ADVISORY

We verify completeness and accuracy of project documentation, analyse legal status of land and permits, assess grid connection conditions and DSO agreements, check environmental compliance, and identify technical and regulatory risks. The result: a DD report with project assessment and investment recommendation.

Yes. We build financial models covering CAPEX, OPEX, revenue projections (arbitrage, capacity market, balancing services), NPV, IRR, and LCOE analysis, plus sensitivity scenarios. For BESS projects, we model revenue strategies and battery degradation over a 15-20 year horizon.

Yes. We prepare tender documentation (RFP/RFQ), collect bids from EPC contractors and component suppliers, analyse them technically and commercially, and support contract negotiations. We know what terms are realistic and what to watch for in agreements.

Yes. We support funds and developers in sourcing projects for acquisition, conduct due diligence, prepare investment committee materials, and support transaction negotiations. We know the Polish market and can help identify attractive opportunities.

QUESTIONS ABOUT C&I SOLUTIONS

For industrial and commercial companies wanting to reduce energy costs, gain energy independence, or meet ESG goals. Typical clients include manufacturing plants, logistics warehouses, shopping centres, office buildings, and businesses with high energy consumption.

We analyse your energy consumption profile (meter data, invoices), identify peak demand and usage patterns, and model different installation scenarios and their cost impact. We size capacity and power for optimal ROI – not the biggest possible, but best matched to your needs.

It depends on your consumption profile, tariff, and chosen solution. Typical savings are 20-40% on energy costs for PV installations and 15-30% reduction in demand charges through BESS peak shaving. At the first meeting, we can provide an initial estimate of savings potential for your business.

Yes. We have experience with EU and national programmes (NFOŚiGW, regional programmes). We help prepare documentation and funding applications. We know programme requirements and how to increase chances of a positive decision.

QUESTIONS ABOUT TECHNOLOGIES

It depends on the application. LFP (lithium iron phosphate) offers longer lifespan and greater safety – we recommend it for most projects. NMC has higher energy density and may be better for specific applications. We’re not tied to any manufacturer – we recommend what’s best for your project.

Yes, this is one of our areas of specialisation. BESS+PV hybrids on a shared connection make better use of grid infrastructure and diversify revenues. We design systems that optimise how both work together – when to charge, when to export, how to manage power.

No. We’re an advisory and development company – we don’t sell equipment. This means our recommendations are unbiased. We know the supplier market worldwide and help select the best components, but you purchase directly from suppliers or through your EPC contractor.

QUESTIONS ABOUT WORKING WITH US

The free consultation lasts 30-45 minutes. We discuss your project or needs, provide an initial assessment of potential and options, and explain how we could help. No obligations – it’s about checking if there’s a fit for collaboration.

It depends on the service type. Due diligence and analyses – typically fixed fee per project. Development – milestone-based billing. Tender management – fixed fee plus optional success fee. Ongoing advisory – monthly retainer. Details are agreed individually.

Flexibly. Most analytical and documentation work is done remotely. On-site visits are needed for site assessments, DSO meetings, and construction supervision. For international clients, we can act as a full local representative in Poland.

Polish and English. All documentation, reports, and communication can be in either language. For international investors, we run projects fully in English while handling Polish-language administrative procedures.
